Pricing and Registration

Workshops

Filter Photo Festival workshops focus on professional development, current practices in photography, and hands-on skills building. Workshops are open to artists and photographers at all levels of accomplishment from new practitioners to seasoned professionals. Workshops are held at the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel, 163 E. Walton Place in downtown Chicago unless otherwise indicated.

Detailed information, descriptions, and instructor bios can be found on our workshop page. If applicable, specifics on what to bring to each workshop is indicated in the workshop description. Use the dropdown menu below to select and register for workshops. Early bird pricing is available through June 30th.

Portfolio Reviews

Participants sign up for twenty-minute face-to-face reviews of their portfolio and receive candid advice about their work, as well as information on getting their photographs exhibited and published. We are thrilled to have so many of our attendees walk away with connections that have led them to publishing their work, gallery exhibitions, online exhibitions and the indispensable opportunity to network with their peers.

You will be contacted by a Filter Photo representative within 24-48 hours after you register for your reviews. You will be asked to submit your reviewer preferences in order from 1-15, 1 being who you would like to see the most. The date you register holds your place in line and priority is given to those who register early. Schedules will be released by late August / early September. Reviews are sold in bundles of 5, 8, or 12. More information about how to prepare for reviews can be found on our FAQ page. Early bird pricing is available through June 30th.

For student pricing please contact caitlin@filterfestival.com for instructions on how to proceed with your registration.
