Part of our Professional Development workshop series, this one-day workshop is for photographers who are interested in creating work with intention and beginning a long-term project. Aline will provide you with new ways of considering your world, approaching and exhibiting photography, and spark ideas for mining your lives for inspiration. In today’s fine art photography market, a well-focused and articulated project is critical for success.
This workshop will give you a creative tool belt in order to bring depth and meaning to your artistic endeavors. The most important piece of equipment a photographer can use is their brain–knowledge of why they are making the work, knowledge of photo history, and knowledge of the market where they hope to present their photographs. Participants will come away with a broader understanding of the contemporary market, genres and themes in photography, and leave with lots of ideas for making work.
